The Port Pirie Cycling Club, while rich in track and road racing history, currently confines it’s activities to social riding and gatherings. Riders meet at the St Marks Primary School carpark on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings at 9 AM for a group ride to Nelshaby/Napperby, and return back to Port Pirie to a private residence for refreshments.
Days when the temperature forecast is 38’C or above rides begin at 8AM. Most ride days our group splits into two, one group taking a longer option. We have riders in our club of various experience levels and welcome the opportunity to introduce anyone interested in exploring the great benefits that cycling can offer.
